Learning About Strategies to Curb Anemia in Developing Countries

Speaker: Lucky Iron Fish

Lucky Iron Fish aims to address iron-deficiency anemia in Cambodia—where it affects almost half of the population—by distributing ferrous-iron fish-shaped ingots that users can place in their meals when cooking. Its program has resulted in dividing by more than 40% the rate of anemia among individuals using the iron “fish.”
