Learning How to Fight Gendered-based Violence with Mobile Phones

Speaker: Dimagi

Dimagi provides a mobile-phone job-aid application that helps healthcare workers screen women for domestic violence during visits to health centers. Women who are identified as survivors of violence are then informed of their rights and referred for counseling. Dimagi’s programs also include text-messaging campaigns that help engage men and boys in gender-based violence prevention.
